3H Concrete, Inc. is a family owned and operated company that prides itself on performance and integrity above all. A team mindset is evident among the employees, but also between 3H Concrete and its customers. The owners, Joe Flowers and Josh Hayes, were very intentional in the way they grew their company, ensuring quality and satisfaction to its customers above all while creating a safe and dynamic workplace for their employees.
After serving in the U.S. Army where great leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple people and projects, and extreme pride in his work was cultivated, Joe joined his family business. Having been raised around construction, he was excited for the opportunity to join a company built by his grandfather. After Ealey & Son Construction was sold, Joe continued his career at one of the largest paving companies in the state of Texas. There he filled many roles including superintendent, project manager, estimator, and general manager. That experience created an extremely well-versed knowledge of each and every project from start to finish. With this invaluable knowledge and experience, Joe stepped out on his own and opened Exact Concrete in 2007.
Josh began his career in the dirt and excavation side of the construction industry and was responsible for the day-to-day operations of multiple crews as well as project managed for multiple builders in the metroplex during that time. In 2008 when the housing market crashed, Josh quickly adjusted and was hired by Joe at Exact Concrete. There he applied his background of excavation, strong work ethic, honesty, and emphasis on relationships to master a new trade. It wasn’t long before he had a thorough understanding and knowledge of the concrete industry and was equipped to handle a vast scope of work and specifications. Josh believes that building relationships is a vital component to the success of any business, and prides himself in always prioritizing this credence.
In 2015, following the sale of Exact Concrete, Josh and Joe combined their knowledge and experience to expand 3H Concrete, Inc. With over 41 years of experience between them, they pride themselves on being very hands-on owners. Today, Joe oversees the sales division and steers business development while Josh oversees the day-to-day operations and sets the pulse of the company.
Both men value God and family. Their success is driven by their home lives and the people they share it with. If not at work or with family, you can generally find them both outdoors. Joe is a bass fisherman and shares his hobby with his son. Josh enjoys the peace and solitude found in nature and is an avid sportsman alongside his dad. Integrity is not a mere characteristic of their professional life, but simply envelops who they are and how they live.
